Island is surrounded by a coral reef, characterised by deep drop
offs of up to 60 metres and by complex rock formations. The beds
of the lagoon are rich in towering coral formations, with colours
ranging from green to intense yellow. These formations are a habitat
for numerous small creatures such as gobies, frogfish, scorpionfish,
lionfish, blennies, nudibranches and shelfish and are a good point
for macro-photography and anyone interested in marine biology, especially
during night dives.
